The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 may be a decade old, but it still commands respect like few cars on the road. As one of the final iterations of Lamborghini’s best-selling model, this V10 beast continues to be a benchmark for all-wheel-drive supercars.

At its heart lies a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10, an engine that sings to 8,500 rpm and delivers an intoxicating 560 horsepower. Paired with Lamborghini’s e-gear automated manual transmission or a rare six-speed gated manual, the powertrain channels fury to all four wheels. The result? A blistering 0-60 mph time of just 3.7 seconds and a top speed north of 200 mph. It’s not just fast—it’s a visceral experience.

The LP 560-4 doesn’t just perform in a straight line. With a revised suspension and a 43/57 front-to-rear weight distribution, the Gallardo remains planted through the corners. Its AWD system is rear-biased, sending up to 70% of its torque to the rear wheels, ensuring sharp, engaging handling while keeping things composed. The electro-hydraulic steering is razor-sharp, offering a level of feedback that modern electric systems often lack.

Design-wise, the LP 560-4 refined the Gallardo’s already aggressive lines. Sharper front and rear fascias, Y-shaped LED accents, and larger air intakes gave it an even more menacing stance. The aluminum space frame kept weight in check, ensuring that performance wasn’t compromised by unnecessary bulk.

Step inside, and the cabin is classic Lamborghini—driver-focused but still relatively comfortable for long drives. Leather and Alcantara wrap nearly every surface, while the ergonomics have just enough Italian quirk to remind you that this is no ordinary car.

While its successor, the Huracán, has since taken over the spotlight, the 2013 Gallardo LP 560-4 remains an icon. It’s a raw, unfiltered, naturally aspirated supercar that marked the end of an era. In a world now dominated by turbocharging and hybridization, the Gallardo stands as a reminder of Lamborghini’s purist approach—where emotion and mechanical theater take center stage.

For those lucky enough to drive one today, the LP 560-4 isn’t just a supercar—it’s a time machine to a golden age of automotive passion.
